Wired vs. Wireless (Are you two talking about internet connection?)
We have identify the Five Factors. They are:
Cost
Installation
Security
Reliability
Performance
1) Wired Advantages:
Reliable - Not affected by other wireless signals (portable/cellular phones, microwaves, etc)
Price (wire is cheap!) (Are we just talking about wires. How much does it cost in Malaysia. I notice from your article the cost is U.S.d $0.80 per foot) What other considerations would influence the cost of setting a wired tech?)
High Life Expectancy
High Speed
QoS (Quality of Service)
Disadvantages
Affected by moisture and other weather conditions
Can be affected by noise generated by machinery and magnetics
Length of wire runs limited
2) Wireless Advantages:
Convenient
Range (what do you mean by range?)
High Life Expectancy
Disadvantages:
Un-reliable - affected by other wireless signals (portable/cellular phones, microwaves, etc)
I think putting all your points in a table as shown as example in Arifin's and Zul's wiki would make your points clearer. You should contrast the same points in a row, if you decide on working with tables.
Your articles are OK but do both articles help you to provide details for the points you have uploaded so far? Hope to see your note-making in class when we meet. ~ Siti
Ms Siti - We have made some changes
Wired vs. Wireless Networking
We have identify the Five Factors. They are:
Installation Methods
